                                  JEALOUS FOR JESUS

‘For I am jealous for you with godly jealousy. For I have betrothed you to one husband, that I may present you as a chaste virgin to Christ.’
2 Corinthians 11:2  NKJV

Our Lord is jealous for us as we  recognize His preeminence in us. That’s observed from what God spoke to Moses in Exodus, ‘For I, the Lord your God, am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon their children to the third and forth generations of those who hate me, but showing mercy to thousands, to those who love Me and keep My commandments.’
 Exodus 20:5b-6

His mercy and goodness, His Spirit, affects us to influence others by what we see and hear every day. Much of what is daily presented to us, the world around us and the media we want to overcome. Much is not essential for us, especially to build Godly character in us.

Our Faith walk is demonstration to recognizing, in all our daily experiences, are actions to our faith. As we learn more each day to becoming a ‘doer of God’s word.’ James 1: 22. Actions we  do every day can become beams of ‘His Light.’ The result will become blessings to our hope of  knowing His Spirit is leading our way. I express this as example to being ‘Jealous for serving our Lord.’

Where we’re at and why we think and reason the way we do will never change, unless we want something better than social, and human reasoning to dominate from our current culture.

Father, you are jealous for us, and desire us to have total dependency upon your promises and corrections. Your jealousy is demonstration of your love. Thank you.
