Wine or Kool Aid?

About a year and a half after the Corona virus hit, despite information from sources that don't have an agenda, people are still running around like scared rabbits! In stores I still see people obsessively wiping down shopping carts and people are still wearing masks.

A report from a reliable source pointed out that in areas such as Florida, and not as sunny and warm Sweden, where silly things like mask mandates and lockdowns are not in place, there has really been no difference in the effects of the virus. The virus is going to do what it's going to do.

"For God did not give us a spirit of fear, but of power and love and of a sound mind. For the Spirit which God has given us is not a spirit of cowardice, but one of power and of love and of sound judgement. For God didn't give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control." -2 Timothy 1:7

The arbitrary mandates, which are not based on sound science, are a result of fearmongering by those who have an agenda to control people. Red China started the virus and although it initially tried to cover it up, is now enjoying the consequences where people are getting scared. They and their sycophants in this country are happy that they are scaring people into thinking irrationally, which has resulted in destroying a free country, where people can worship freely.

The enemies of God and freedom have been counting on people not questioning the lies and being irrational and going into a panic. Their fear mongering is working to control many people.

Unquestionably following arbitrary mandates and play Simon Says and drink poison laced Kool-aid was the goal of Marxist Jim Jones. This charasmatic leader created a police state, where he convinced Jonestown members to inform on each other for violating any of his rules. Others, who didn't drink the Kool-Aid, were shot and killed. It was a mass killing, like that in totalitarian countries.

What's sad is that some churches are submitting to the fear mongering, in many cases willingly. Driven by fear, or perhaps just an excuse not to fufill their mission, many churches in Southern Bucks County, PA are no longer fully serving the homeless and needy in the community. Only one church has been hosting homeless sit down meals, where they not only feed the body but the soul, consistantly.

The past two Thanksgivings, during the pandemic, the church held Thanksgiving dinners, with the trimmings of ministering to people. After Thanksgiving 2020, the church planned a sitdown meal the next month. Because AHTN, the alleged advocates for the homeless and needy did not advertise the meal, they cancelled it. But since January 2021 the church hosted sit down meals regularly.

Many of the homeless depend on AHTN for transportation to the meals, which, except for a special occasion like the church's Thanksgiving dinner, the alleged advocates  have not provided, although they have funding.

The church should be a good example and not follow the ways of the world. Instead of using wine or grape juice for communion, maybe the churches who kowtow to the arbitrary mandates should serve Kool-Aid! Maybe they saw the ad from former President Barry Obama to "Drink the Democrat Kool-Aid. Try it..."

"And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God." -Romans 12:2
