The World Is Living In A 3D Culture

     There are three passages in the New Testament that describe our culture with “D” words. 

     Deception. Matthew 24 lists in verses 4, 11, and 24, that in the last days before the Tribulation and the return of Christ that there will be much deception. Deception is a concealing or misrepresentaton of the truth. That is happening in reference to the virus and the vacccine. There is much that is not being told to the public. People who speak out against it are being censored. The real truth behind the vaccine, and where it and the mandates are leading, is not being recognized by most people. 

     There is also spiritual deception - the belief that people do not have a sin nature. Satan has blinded the eyes and hearts of many for their need of the grace of God. People think the vaccine has the answer, while at the same time ignoring God. While most people probably think of the love of God, they don’t see that He is also the God of judgment. Pestilence, which is what the virus is, is a form of judgment. 

     People are also being deceived by fear. Fear has been programmed into the culture to the point to where many are believing the vaccine to be “safe and effective” without asking any questions. Fear overrules logic and reasoning. Fear is resulting in many unreasonable restrictions, even within some churches. Question: Are you living by faith or by fear?

     Depraved thinking. Romans 1, another prophetic chapter in the New Testament, says in verse 28 that because people “did not see fit to acknowledge God any longer, God gave them over to a depraved mind, to do things that are not proper. The rest of the chapter list all these things, which we see in our culture today. Pick up a Bible and read Romans 1. When you do, I am sure that many things will come to mind that are not proper.

     The legal definition of depraved thinking is “a condition of the mind characterized by an inherent deficiency of moral sense and integrity. It consists of evil, corrupt and perverted intent which is devoid of regard for human dignity and which is indifferent to human life. It is a state of mind outrageously horrible or inhuman.” That describes the world’s culture perfectly.

     Delusion. This is noted in another prophetic passage in II Thessalonians 2:11. Because people have not received the love of the truth so as to be saved, “God will send upon them a deluding influence so that they might believe what is false.” 

     Delusion is defined by the Oxford Languages as a “idiosyncratic belief or impression that is firmly maintained despite being contradicted by what is generally accepted as reality or rational argument, typically a symptom of mental disorders.” That also fits the culture. 

     Every one of these “3-D’s“ is a direct result of rejecting God. How about you? Are you living by the truth, or by one or more of these 3-D’s?
