As a writer who loves sharing God’s promises, I began journaling well over forty years ago now. Through my doing a daily highlight from what I read, I have discovered the joy of knowing our Lord more intimately. Another feature I am blessed with is to actually ‘dedicate’ each new day to our Lord. That is before my day gets going, I spend the first part of each new day listening to Him in prayer and reading His word. I found that when I would purposely dedicate the day to His preeminence, my tasks, whether work responsibilities, home & family care, His abiding Spiritual presence gives me a blessed assurance of greater discernment to the needs of the day.

Now that I’m retired from my avocation that I spent doing for over 40 plus years in Government services, I now pursue my true vocation,established when I first dedicated my life to Christ at age 15. One never knows where God will lead us.

But my daily dedicating each day to God transforms my human reasoning to make the day filled with a purpose and hope, beyond all the turmoil and fear we witness in the unregerate world around us. To purpose each day for God’s honor, helps us recognize how God expands our own borders of faith. Faith given us new each day through His faithfulness to us as His followers.

Father, dedicating each day for your Spirit to lead us, reveals your wise discernment and counsel to help us recognize; ‘how all things work together for those who love you. AMEN
