The times we live in
The streets and roads are often empty with no sign of life

The times we live in
Communality is being redefined over time

The times we live
Alliances and camaraderie have since moved online

The times we live in
Exchanges and pleasantries from a distance are now prime

The times we live in
Cynicism and narcissism still thrive

The times we live in
Racism, the hag of old is still alive

The times we live in
Citizenry does not necessitate equality, even if you strive

The times we live in
Villain plays the victim, same old story and lie

The times we live in
Security, some have it without having to try

The times we live in
Actions of care and love are often viewed as desire

The times we live in
I hope you build good relations and not your own empire

The times we live
May you find God and make Him alone your "Sire".
