Charity
To give more than we take
To give more than we take
A priceless virtue
More to hold than we can ever make
Life's essence unceasingly true
Joy
Not superficial as though it were a temporal flash

Everlasting like heaven's lush
Enduring like a redeeming sight
Peace
A heart's tranquil drive
A soul's restful state
Not one strife
Not one dictate
Patience
Slowly and intensively watching
Keen and gently listening
A brace for unheard words glistening
A thrust for undone acts resounding
Kindness
Kindness
Tempered hearts laced with grace
Firmly holding others in trust and hope
Precious ones who never grow old
Not easily broken as a threefold rope
Goodness
All that is bright and beautiful
All that is fair and regal
So gracefully trustful
More valuable than all life's wherewithal

Taste and see that which is genuine

A buried seed, yet a colossus
Few words, yet a myriad
Unwavering to the tilt of the cross
Unfailing blessed hope in divinity's Triad
Modesty
Great abundance, greater prudence
Great abundance, greater prudence
Plenty of supply, more cause to be wary
A nurtured contempt for opulence
A resourceful heart for the needy
Self-control
Deliberate choices of a higher will;
Conscious thoughts from a loftier heart;
Not many regrets on flashbacks' reel;
Not many escapades on yesterdays' path.
Charity
To hold and keep, as it were, not thine own
To nurture and groom in prep for another
Rushing streams of emotions gracefully do not drown
Burning flames of passions subdued by the Spring of Living Water
