Life After The Coronavirus

No, the world is not coming to an end. However, it will be radically different from what we have known it to be. One writer asked the question, are we entering a “post-Coronavirus era?” Tyler Durden went on to say, “Unfortunately, we have now entered a time when there will be one crises after another, and every new crisis will significantly escalate our woes.”

     The above quotation really caught my attention because it is right out of the Book of Revelation, whether the writer realized it or not. Bible prophecy speaks of world conditions and events like “birth pangs” that will increase in frequency and intensity as the world approaches the Tribulation Period and the Second Coming of Jesus Christ.

     With biblical history in mind it is worth consideration, as some writers have pointed out, that pandemics are the only events that affect the entire world at once. The only others are Noah’s flood which wiped out the human race except for one family, and the Tower of Babel which resulted  in a global dispersion of the human race and the origin of different languages. Both were a result of humanity“s refusal to give God his rightful place as Creator, Sustainer, and Redeemer. We are at that same point again!

     Humanity thinks it can be in control and doesn’t need God, but look at what one microscopic germ has done. It has brought the world to a standstill, but not to its knees.

     From a biblical perspective, this virus is both a pestilence and a plague. Passages in both the Old and New Testaments that mention pestilence or plagues are always connected with judgment. Is this virus a judgment? I don’t know. What I do know is that God allowed it to happen, and He can use anything, human-caused or not, to accomplish his purposes for humanity, including judgment. At the very least it is a wake-up call to a godless and unrepented world. Some have even called it a final warning. 

     So, are we entering an era of judgment and more frequent and intense birth pangs when in the words of Tyler Darden, “there will be one crises after another, and every crisis will significantly escalate our woes.” It is interesting that this writer used the word “woes.” All through the Book of Revelation horrible things are mentioned and described as “woes” with the next worse than the one before.

     Is this virus a catalyst for a chain of events the likes of which the world has never seen that will fulfill Bible prophecy? In fact, the stage is already being set for what will take place during the Tribulation Period, and the Coronavirus is the opportunity to set things in motion. Consider the following:

     Writer David A. Andleman stated, “It would appear that the world could use a new leader in this time of crisis-one who is prepared to put global interests above personal or political aggrandizement.” The United Nations Secretary General, Antonio Guterres, emphasized “the fury of this virus illustrates the folly of war.” In this regard, Emmanuel Macron, President of France, has proposed a worldwide cease fire. Four out of five members of the U.N. Security Council have agreed to it. Doesn’t this sound like the makings of a one-world government mentioned in Revelation 13?

     Another development that the virus has brought on with more urgency is ID2020. Some of the world’s elites, including Bill Gates and Dr. Anthony Fauci, (President Trump’s advisor) want to find a vaccine that would provide biometric data, ID technology, vacinnation records, and digital commerce. The goal is to immunize every person on the planet! A recent headline read, “Gates is chomping at the bit to implement his long-awaited mandatory vaccination agenda.” An ID2020 implant would interact with a computer network. It would provide digital identity and would leave a mark without which one could not buy or sell. In addition, Microsoft has made a device that could add a tracking code to a mass vaccination. This is all under the guise of being immunized! Could this be another step toward fulfillment of the “mark of the beast“ as prophesied in Revelation 13:16-18? It sure sounds like it!

     This would also mean a cashless society. The Coronavirus has made a cashless society all the more urgent because of the high risk of the virus being on money. Visa has filed a patent for cryptocurrency to replace cash.

     Anyone who believes the virus will end and the world will return to normal may be in for a very unpleasant surprise. The virus, and fear and panic along with it, is the crisis the globalists have been waiting for. This could be a springboard for a one-world government, and the mark of the beast economic system. Of course, this may not happen right away, or will it? These and many other prophetic signs are unfolding very rapidly.

     Some things of a non-biblical nature which may happen sooner are mandatory vacinnations, increased control and monitoring of the population, and more severe restrictions placed upon individual freedom to come and go, and do this and that. This may even include getting certificates to show that one has been vaccinated or has recovered from the illness. (I already have paperwork clearing me to drive to and from my “essential service” job.) The sobering thought is that these kind of controls could continue and increase long after the virus has ended (if it does end)? 

     All of the above are in addition to what is happening to the U.S. economy. Millions of small businesses may have to close permanently because loans are not coming through. Retailers are unable to get merchandise because the supply chain is broken.

     Here are two things to watch for in the coming weeks and months as concerns government control: the Universal Basic Income, and HB6666. The Basic Income has been talked about for a long time, but now there are those who are saying that the economic hardship for many Americans, caused  by the virus, has provided the perfect timing to enact it. 

     Now, check out this headline: “Congress Introduces Bill to allow Government to Mass Test Americans For COVID-19 In Their Homes.” This is House Bill 6666!

     Journalist Michael Snyder recently stated, “It appears that the ‘perfect storm’ is now upon us, and I anticipate that global events will continue to escalate in the months ahead.” Writer Daisy Luther, on her website, Organic Prepper, said, “I regret to inform you, that we’re never going back to normal.”

     Along with COVID-19 the world is experiencing many other calamities related, and unrelated, to the pandemic that will most likely have long term ramifications. There are large swarms of locusts devouring crops in Africa and parts of Europe. There is the African Swine Fever which has already killed one-fourth of the pigs in the world! For the first time huge killer hornets have been seen in the United States. These hornets attack bee hives, destroying bees that pollinate crops. All of these things, of course, affect the world food supply.

     So, in so many ways life will be dramatically different in this post-Coronavirus era. It might behoove each person to give some serious thought as to how he or she will respond to all of this, based upon their conscience, religious convictions, and knowledge of biblical prophecy. Are you going to refuse a mandatory vacinnation, and why? Are you going to be a part of peaceful protests? Are you going to defy government restrictions because of your constitutional rights or your freedom to worship? These are crucial decisions, but the reality is that the time has come when these decisions must be made.

     Along with all the things mentioned in this article is the coming seven-year Tribulation Period, the next thing on God’s agenda that will affect the entire world. It will be a horrible time of judgment and God’s wrath upon humankind. In fact, as bad as this Coronavirus plague is, Revelation 16 lists seven more plagues happening during the Tribulation Period that will be unimaginably worse.

     After that will be the millennial era when Jesus Christ will rule Planet Earth. It will be a kingdom where righteousness and peace will dwell. So, the globalists will eventually get their one-world government, but it will be run by God, and they will bow to Him!

     Folks, there is a way out. Put your faith and trust in Jesus. He is in control of it all. You can have forgiveness, hope, and peace, no matter what happens. Better yet, consider making him your personal Savior.
