Many people believe the Coronavirus plague is a foretaste of worse things to come during the Tribulation Period upon a world that has still not acknowledged God. There are seven plagues listed in Revelation 16 that are God’s wrath upon an unbelieving humanity:

1. Loathsome and malignant sores. - 16:2

2. The seas became blood like that of a dead man. - 16:3

3. The rivers and springs became blood. - 16:4

4. A severe heatwave that will scorch people with the sun and fierce heat. -
16:8-9

5. Darkness so severe it can be felt. - 16:20

6. Spirits of demons gathering together the kings of the earth for the war of the great day of God. - 16:12-16

7. An earthquake so great that “the cities of the nations fell” and “every island fled away and the mountains were not found.” Also huge hailstones weighing 100 pounds will fall.- 16:18-21
