Is the Coronavirus Setting the Stage For The One World Government?

Is the Coronavirus going to be a catalyst for a chain of events leading to a one world government and eventually the Mark of the Beast? Former British Prime Minister, Gordon Brown, recently stated in reference to the virus, “There has to be a coordinated global response...We need some sort of working executive.” Writer David A. Andelman stated in an article, “It would appear that the world could use a new leader in this time of crisis - one who is prepared to put global interest above personal or political aggrandizement.”

     The U.N. Secretary General, Antonio Guterres, stated that “the fury of the virus illustrates the folly of war.” In this regard, the President of France, Emmanuel Macron, has stepped up to the plate in proposing a worldwide cease fire. Four out of the five U.N.Security Council members are in agreement.  Is it a coincidence that one of Macron’s middle names, Frederic, means peaceful ruler?

     Lawrence England, an English Catholic writer, made a rather provocative statement. “The one world government is about sheer power over populace, not about helping people. They want a world of slaves.” (Both above quotes taken from an article by Dorothy Cummings McClean of Lifesite news.com).

     Now consider this quote from Parker Claussen of Harbinger Daily. “For the first time in human history, technology and global willpower have made the factors of Revelation 13:6-7 feasible.”

     ID2020, an alliance of governmental, corporate, organizational, and university leaders, has a plan to provide a digital ID for everyone, the rich and poor, and those in developed and undeveloped nations. Everyone means each and every man, woman, and child on the planet. ID2020 wants “Accelerating technology to ensure that everyone in need has access to a unique digital identity as part of a basic human right.”

     There is also a new kind of technology called “Quantum dot.” It is a vaccine that leaves a mark or barcode-like tatoo. This would be combined with a digital wallet, making it possible to buy or sell without any currency or devices.

     Once again quoting Parker Claussen, “Never has there been in human history such an aggressive, coordinated effort to create a mark that will identify every person on an international scale and link the mark to one’s ability to buy or sell.”

     Revelation 13:7-8 and 16-18 are being fulfilled before our eyes. The biblical prophecy puzzle is coming together piece by piece with current events. This and many other things prophesied for the Tribulation Period are already in process. The prophecy of the above Bible reference mentions both a world leader and receiving a mark, without which one will not be able to buy or sell.

     Everyone needs to wake up. The world is transitioning into a new era-one of judgment for a world that has rejected God, but one of salvation from judgment, and redemption, for those who have put their faith in the Lord Jesus Christ.
