I have already commented that The Acts of the Apostles makes it clear that the unbound demons (those not active for 120 years before Noah's 600th year) were still active during those years. As further evidence that Satan and the unbound demons were not bound in hell in 30 AD, at Jesus' crucifixion and resurrection, as some Reformed people believe, do a Keyword Search for Satan, devil and demon in the Epistles and you will see that Satan and the unbound demons were definitely considered active by the Apostles. Some of the most interesting references are these:

Romans 16:20 New American Standard Bible (NASB)

20 The God of peace will soon crush Satan under your feet.

The grace of our Lord Jesus be with you.

I do not believe that Paul is referring to Satan's final judgment at the Second Coming of Christ, but to his judgment in 70 AD, when he and the unbound demons were cast into hell. Every reference to "soon" in the Epistles means a short time. And the fact that this crushing of Satan would be under the feet of the Christians in Rome makes it sound as though it would happen in their day. And of course hell was "under" their feet. And again, the 40-year delay was to prophesy that the final casting of Satan and the unbound demons into hell would happen at the end of Israel's 40 centuries (why all the 40s are in the Bible), in 2030.

2 Thessalonians 2:9 New American Standard Bible (NASB)

9 that is, the one whose coming is in accord with the activity of Satan, with all power and signs and false wonders,

As I mentioned in Part 1, this refers to "the man of lawlessness," the Jewish Antichrist, who will be revealed after the Rapture. Verses 2-12 make it clear that this is referring to the time of Christ's Second Coming, the Day of the Lord. There will first be a time of apostasy, which seems to be connected to and leads to this "man of lawlessness, ...whose coming is in accord with the activity of Satan ...." This clearly jives with Satan and the demons being released from hell in 1910 and causing apostasy in the Church. It will lead into the Rapture and the coming of the Jewish Antichrist "with all power and signs and false wonders ...."

Hebrews 2:14 New American Standard Bible (NASB)

14 Therefore, since the children share in flesh and blood, He Himself likewise also partook of the same, that through death He might render powerless him who had the power of death, that is, the devil,

Rendering Satan powerless did happen in 30 AD through Christ's crucifixion and resurrection. That was the foundation for the Spirit-regenerated life of all the elect from Adam and Eve onward. Satan's "power of death" no longer had any claim over them. It was then, in a very true sense, that God's Kingdom began and Satan's Kingdom was defeated. It was then that Satan could no longer appear in heaven to accuse the elect. He was "thrown down to the earth" (Rev. 12:8-12). This was discussed in Part 1. Of course, Christ rendered Satan and the unbound demons even more powerless in 70 AD, when He imprisoned them in hell. His ultimate victory over their power will be after their 120 years of "deceiving the nations," in 2030, when He casts them back into hell for eternity.

8 the one who practices sin is of the devil; for the devil has sinned from the beginning. The Son of God appeared for this purpose, to destroy the works of the devil.

Destroying "the works of the devil" also occurred in 30 AD, further in 70 AD and, finally after his "short time", in 2030 AD.

Apostasy

4 But the Spirit explicitly says that in later times some will fall away from the faith, paying attention to deceitful spirits and doctrines of demons,

This verse was included in Part 1, as well, and is clearly in line with the release of Satan and the spirits/demons (those not active for the 120 years before Noah's 600th year) to bring the apostasy in the "later times," for 120 years before the 6000th year, in 2030.
