A World in Chaos Is Ripe for a World Leader

The world is in chaos. Governments are in turmoil. Lawlessness is rampant. Things seem to be getting worse, not better. There is a lot of talk, but no real solutions. 

     Many people are experiencing hopelessness and despair. After thousands of years of humanity, isn’t there anything better? The world is ripe for a world leader who will unite people.

     Revelation 13 (the last book of the New Testament) says that someone will come on the world stage who will be given “authority over every tribe and people and tongue and nation...” He will have so much authority that no one will be able to make war with him. Nonetheless, he will still be so charismatic and popular that the whole earth will be amazed and follow after him. The world will see him as their answer. Notice that this person will be given authority (not take power by force), and people will willfully choose to follow him. He will be worshiped. When this person comes to power offering solutions to the world’s problems, and provides peace and order to a world in chaos, people will latch onto him like a leach.

     However, there will also be deception. Turning now to II Thessalonians 2, we see that he will come with the activity of satan, with power and signs and false wonders. There will be deception of wickedness for those who perish because they did not receive the love of the truth so as to be saved.

     In reality this person will be satan in human flesh, who is referred to as the anti-Christ. Later, in his rule of the world, he will require allegiance to him in order to buy or sell. This is commonly known as the 666 system of world control. Anyone who bows to him will be giving their soul to satan for all eternity.

     All of this is falling into place very rapidly. Don‘t give your allegiance to this deceptive savior. In reference to Jesus, God in human flesh who died for your sins, “There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that has been given among men, by which we must be saved.”
