                                                           All Grown Up?

Some days when we’re ‘on top of the world,’ as the old saying goes we feel like Betty Hutton singing ‘anything you can do I can do better,’ from the Broadway musical.

It’s wonderful when we feel these magic moments. But God desires us to recognize the power of His presence, to lead and teach us through all our living experiences.

There are opportunities for us to be what He wants us to be. Even when we seem to have everything all together and nothing appears to be an obstacle, for all we set out to do?

We’re challenging and being challenged all the time. But are we really there yet, as being all grown up? None of us want to follow a blind man, nor does our Lord want us blinded by temptations that appear as ‘Avenues of Light.’ They might be stumbling blocks on a path too wide to conquer?

To surrender into the authority of God’s leading, will we ask in our heart… “What would God want me to do in this special moment?”  Learn to be intellectually honestand transparent. It’s part of a growing and learning process, to lean on God, who created us.

“A disciple is not above his teacher, but everyone who is perfectly trained will be like his teacher.” Luke 6:40 NKJV

Through all of living life’s experiences, we should truthfully acknowledge; were blessed, even when there might be unwanted obstacles not always understood for the moment. Be challenged to discern, and be patient with responsibilities, we think we might not be ready for.

In truth, we’re never really be all grown up this side of eternity. But God will equip!
