                             Finding My Way by Losing It

People struggle to find a calm to their daily purpose in living as God desires. To live a Spirit controlled temperament to recognize His leading.

Consider what we’re about today, with all this turmoil of indifference and contention. We’re challenged every day, from being intimated, or conformed to, this ever changing world of despair.

“Then Jesus said to His disciples, “If anyone wishes to come after Me, he must deny himself, and take up his cross and follow Me. For whoever wishes to save his life will lose it; but whoever loses his life for My sake will find it.” Mathew 16:24-25 NASB

What’s our Lord talking about, ‘losing my life to find it? Much of the world around us doesn’t really know where they’re going, what brings significance to their living? Can they lose their life any more than where they’re at?

We might hear; ‘I’ve my own cross to bear.’ But do we actually understand our own weakness, what might be called, our own ‘thorn in the flesh?’ Learning to lean on the power of His presence, gives identity and strength to victory dealing with our own thorns.  

I’ve come to recognize; I’m ‘tethered to Jesus.’
In other words, the more I purpose to recognize His abiding Spirit living in me, His authority gives wisdom to discern what matters most; ‘the important over the urgent.’

Learning to identify His priorities, apart from things this world pushes at me. My fleshly desires become transformed into a heart change that I want Christ to be honored more than edifying myself.

The result, my product of service delivers ‘Spiritual Fruit,’ apart from thinking the way of my fleshly desire.
