                                     What God Brought First

“From everlasting I was established, from the beginning, from the earliest times of the earth. While He had not yet made the earth and the fields, Nor the first dust of the world.” Proverbs 8:23, 26 NASB

What was it the Creator of this world did or possessed, before creation began?  

Proverbs chapter eight is a personification of God. A recognition that describes the resource, if you will, how it all began. That personification is wisdom. ‘God’s wisdom,’ is the tool or character of one of God’s resources or credentials, He possesses to do it all.

Today, we have God’s infallible word from Genesis to Revelation to know and understand. To know how it all began, and for us to learn from His wisdom. How to build true intimacy with the Creator of the world, for Him to teach us how to live ‘In Him.’

Before the world began God demonstrated His authority and Wisdom as; Alpha and Omega, the Lord God, “Who is and was and who is to come.” Revelation 1:8

From everlasting. This is descriptive also of Christ from the earliest times of the earth. This is so clearly recognized:  

“In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.” John 1:1

“Now, Father, glorify Me together with Yourself, with the glory which I had with You before the world was.” John 17:5

Our faith, we hold so dear to us all, began through God’s wisdom! Not as One created, but rather, God through Jesus revealed Himself, to create for us, His divine plan for true life.

We might say…’Wisdom was our Lord’s ‘Master Plan’ that started it all.
