Can we rightfully blame God for all the troubles we meet?
Isn't He "All-Powerful" and COULD make the bitter sweet?
Isn't He, supposedly, in control of all our lives?
Then why, oh, why is it that pain and evil thrives?

Why shattered dreams, when everything goes wrong?
Why are injustices so rampant and so strong?
Isn't God great enough to change the wrong to right?
And can't He even care enough to rid us from all blight?

Why has He been "silent" for two thousand years?
Is He blind, not to see, and deaf, to never hear?
Or is He dead, no longer there to aid?
The evil that surrounds us cause our hearts to be afraid.

No, it's mankind's sinful heart that spawns the evil we see.
Man's refusal to accept the love God offers constantly!
For each has gone his wilful way, refusing God's offer clear:
You can have real peace and joy if to God you will draw near.

The DAY OF GRACE is yet alive, when God will take us in,
Then Light appears at the end of the road --ending confusion and din!
Some glorious day we will dwell with Him and gone will be all blight
For He will rule the hearts of men -- Satan banished to eternal night!
