In His time, He makes all things beautiful
I’m sure all of us would have had instances in our life when we have suffered without a reason or a cause, we might have asked.. ..“why me Lord” and “why is this happening to me?”
Our Lord God Jesus was arrested, chastised, bruised…for what?
All He did was heal those who were sick, comfort the broken hearted, preach and teach the people to return from their sins and come back to God.
“And when He had said these things, one of the officers who stood by struck Jesus with the palm of his hand, saying, “Do You answer the high priest like that?”
Jesus answered him, “If I have spoken evil, bear witness of the evil; but if well, why do you strike Me?”
John 18:22-23 NKJV
Yet, today we know why the Lord suffered, He suffered instead of us, His death has brought us life, has enabled us to be forgiven before the Lord God.
The problems and rejections of our life, even when they come without a reason or a cause, or even when we may believe that we have been victimized, they are not to destroy us, rather to make us more stronger and perfect.
For those who believe in God, here’s what the Word says…
“And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose. “ Romans 8:28 NKJV
Often when God allows pain and afflictions in our life, this is what He says about them..
“Behold, I have refined you, but not as silver;
I have tested you in the furnace of affliction.”
Isaiah 48:10 NKJV
Sometimes, the Lord our God takes us through bitter experiences only to make us better and to purify us.
The Bible has the example of Joseph who was sold as a slave by his own brothers, jailed in Egypt for wrong he had not committed, yet later in God’s right time, the Lord raised him up to be the prime minister of Egypt.
There are many other examples like Daniel, Job etc.., who suffered much in their lives, yet later they realized that God was watching over them and brought them from their pain and blessed them.
In every circumstance of our life, let’s always trust God, for He controls our life and as a loving Father, He will surely deliver us in His right time.
Let’s do what the Word says and be what the Lord wants us to be always..
“Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and He will lift you up.”
James 4:10 NKJV
God Bless,
Abraham
