I’m reading about an unusual man that spent his entire life doing good deeds for fallen man.
He is the very substance of this entire book, mingled in every page, waiting for its readers to find him if they can.

He was born in a lowly state, even in a stable. As the owners of the Inn declared to his parents they had no room.
And this book follows his entire life with all its mystery, for even when he was buried they came to an empty tomb.

As a baby when he was taken to the temple, some rejoiced that the consolation for all mankind they had just saw.
As a child when his parents searched for him sorrowing only to find him in the temple speaking with Doctors’ of the law.

When at a marriage, and the crowd was great at his mothers’ bidding he took ordinary water and turned it into wine.
Taking time in the secrecy of night to explain the way of Salvation to a Ruler of the Jews, being ever so kind.

He met the woman of Samaria at the well one day and gave her water to drink, wherein she will never thirst again.
Healing a man with a withered hand, feeding over five thousand people with a few small fish a boy had given him.

He had compassion on and healed the palsied man that was let down through the roof, when he saw their faith.
He raised the Ruler’s daughter up from off her death bed, as the crowd laughed him to scorn, thinking he was too late.

He chose one man out of a multitude by the pool of Siloam, and healed him after asking the man. Wilt thou be made whole?
He sought out the man in the tombs, casting out enough devils to kill a herd of swine. Then cleansed his never dying soul.

He touched a blind man’s eyes that was blind from birth, and offered him salvation when the Pharisees thrust him out in a rush.
He raised the centurions’ servant with just a word, and healed a woman with an issue of blood for many years by just one touch.

This man walked on top of water, and at his bidding even the winds and the seas will obey his majestic, lovely voice.
He raised up Lazarus after being dead for four days, all this and more yet the multitude cried for Barrabas as their choice.

He spent his life healing many, saving those that sought salvation, teaching all that would hear of his wonderful Father up above.
The book I’m reading declares the world could not contain the books that could be written of him, and on me he set his love.

You can see in these examples, that this Jesus I’m reading about is more than any man, He is the Way, He is truth, He is the door.
Wherefore God has highly exalted him, and given him a name that is above every name. And to this Jesus every knee shall bow and every tongue confess that he is Lord. Of this you can be sure.
