“So then it is not of him who wills, nor of him who runs, but of God who shows mercy.”
Romans 9:16NKJV

Our Lord reminds me often that everything I do comes through the presence of His leading. I’m not to think too highly of myself, but be mindful my faith comes to me from above.

 God assigns to us the measure of faith He knows we can handle. This is verified to us from Romans 12:3, “For I say, through the grace given to me, to everyone who is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think, but to think soberly, as God has dealt to each one a measure of faith.”

Running the race before me can be tiring and stressful, or, recognizing the strength and power of His presence are what bring true fulfillment to reach the goal I set myself to.

Learning to rest ‘In Him’, we’ll find His resources bring better and more complete results to the pursuit we start out to do.

 Grace given us from above, like the measure of faith God provides to us; is for us to become better acquainted to His leading.  Humbling ourselves therefore, under the mighty hand of God; He will exult us, to His honor. [Ref: 1 Peter 5: 6] Where we’re at in our faithwalk will bring new horizons of vision, understanding His authority over us, letting God have His way.

Living the new life is not about self, but rather a growing and learning; God will demonstrate to us His mercy and power in and through us with new revelation of His resources to lean on.
