Can you claim as the psalmist did that as for me I will behold thy face in righteousness.
I shall be satisfied, when I awake with thy likeness.

This doesn’t come about by chance, but on purpose you must desire to wake up beholding his lovely face.
There is a step by step process that leads up to this end result, and it will only come to fruition by God’s grace.

The bible declares that the church one day will be offered up without spot, or blemish.
For this to take place the members of the true church must be conformed to his image, our old nature must be dimished.

It is apparent in this line of thinking that many will be deceived in that day, as they cry in his presence Lord, Lord.
You must die daily to your personal feelings, and judge yourself aforehand according to God’s word.

The bible tells of some character traits of his own, he walks upright, works righteousness, and speaks the truth in his heart.
He doesn’t backbite with his tongue he does no evil to, nor reproaches his neighbor, in this person a good work he did start.

In whose eyes, the wicked, vile persons are contemned.
This is yet another attribute on one the Lord will not condemn.

His affections are set on things above he honoreth them that fear the Lord.
He will swear to his own hurt, and will not change his word.

The Lord goes on to say that he puts not out his money to usury, and will take no reward against the innocent.
The promise is, he that doeth these things shall never be moved, and others can see Jesus in you does have the preeminence.

The bible tells us to work out our own salvation with fear and trembling, to make our calling and election sure.
The manifestations of God’s Spirit are given to us to profit withal, and purify our hearts from this world.

So ask yourself again, will you really only be satisfied when you can awake with the likeness of our Lord.
If this is true to your heart, then you are blessed above all mankind and your calling and your election is sure.
