Don’t let others decide who you are
You aren’t deserving of their pressure
Stay true to you in all you do
Otherwise you may be questioning all you once knew

Don’t take hold to rigorous pain
An addiction to anything can leave you insane
The need you feel is nothing but illusion
You’re better off coming to a different conclusion

Don’t push away those who care
Unless you’re willing to accept the dare
Being left alone in silence you’ll never win
And it’s hard to rekindle trust again

Don’t wonder too far off of the path
Especially if you want a comfortable life to last
The wrath that waits to ambush someone who is lost
Isn’t worth the distraction nor the cost
