We All Get Lost
It is easy to get lost. All of us easily get lost even with the help of GPS tracking devices. For instance, when we drive in unfamiliar places we can make one wrong turn, and as a result, be in an unknown territory. Panic and frustration occur when we are lost. Our biggest concern is to find our way back to our destination, or “home.”
Stay Focused
As scary as it is to be in an unknown place, it is more frightening to be lost outside of the physical world such as in the spiritual world. The more we stray away from God, the more we lose focus, deter from his word, and lose substance from our hearts. For example, if we are facing a financial hardship, and become doubtful, and desperate to attain financial gain while we are offered riches to do an evil deed, or sell our soul for money we will be in great danger. As God is a true mystery, losing our spirit can also be a mystery, but an unfortunate and treacherous mystery; finding our way back to God may be difficult too, leading us on a path of infinite and almost eternal destruction.
Acceptance of negative energy, or power over God's omniscient power and grace distorts and confronts our minds with distractions. Our minds become clouded with disturbing thoughts. If we follow them continuously, we can find ourselves in places that we do not want to be in, and places that we thought we would never be. Consequently, we need to keep our hearts in conjunction with the Father at all times. We must remain light-hearted in heavy times. This will keep us from sinking in the spiritual world and keep us humble.
Our Greatest Possession
Our soul is the most important and valuable thing we possess; it is an asset from Jah. It is so dynamic, yet fragile. It requires special attention and protection from heaven above. Thus, we should never allow our soul to get away from the Almighty. Keep near the cross. Never should we deny, ignore or lose our soul. Instead we should gain spiritual enlightenment.
