Author requests article critique

Lord we are yours
Even when we know you are close yet you feel so far
Lord we follow you
Even when we are fearful and do not know what to do
Lord you are our Father
When life is good
Yet gets tougher
What would we do without you Lord?
How would we manage in this evil world?
When our scars get so rotten and sore
And we feel like we have been chewed down to the core
What would we do without you Lord?
And without the promise of your word?
