H hugging mommy, soaking in her sweet scent
E everlasting laughter from daddy’s jokes
A a sweet melody caressing your dreams
V visiting an old friend, sharing with each other times gone by
E excitement from the littlest of things
N never seeing what you lost, only what you have
S sweet smells unlocking good memories

G gold and silver offered, but all you want is love
I in caves of black, you can see a light
F finding in yourself something you never knew was there
T taking time off to spend it with those close to you
S sharing with people the wonderful love of Jesus Christ

The true gifts you’ve been given are not the things you possess.
Not the ring on your finger or the clothes in your closet,
Not the newest gadget or the prettiest of toys,
Not the biggest house or the money in the bank.

For all these things can be taken away,
And all that will remain are the gifts that come from above.
