I and my husband were discussing about God's anger in the Old Testament and how people feared him and we were also comparing the contexts from Old Testament and New Testament!

Then he revealed few things to me which I felt were so true and I had to share!

He told me God has always been faithful and loving! He loved and showed grace to everyone in the Old Testament just as he has shown mercy and grace in New Testament!

It was God's grace that human race is continued inspite of Adam and Eve's sin!

God kept forgiving the Israelites again and again for sinning terribly against him!

When we read the Old Testament we realise how merciful and forgiving God was to the Israelites even though they were sinning continuously!

I think God was tired of the Israelites and their Idol worship! No matter what God did or how much he cared for them they went back to their own evil ways!

Even then God still didn't give up! Then He sent his only begotten son, so that we may turn from our evil ways and surrender our lives to God!

But today , I feel we are taking advantage of God's goodness! We all want grace and forgiveness! We want love no matter what we do or how we live!

We do not fear God ! We do not want to hear or think about our sins! We do not want to give a thought about obeying God! We just want to hear that God is loving and that he is merciful ! That's it!

Beloved friends, we have all come to the end of this year, let us truly repent of our sins and surrender ourselves to God and never turn back to our evil ways again! Let us start a new life a new self this new year!

Let us not take advantage of God's grace! Let us fear the Lord! Let us obey and walk in his will! Let us make our Heavenly Father happy! He loves you! Jesus is coming soon! Get up! Be prepared! Amen! All glory to God!
