Do you envy your Friend's success?

When John the Baptist was baptising people in water , John's disciples came to him and said "Rabbi the man whom you identified as messiah is baptising people on the other side of the Jordan river! Everyone are going to him, instead of coming to us!"

And John replied "No one can receive unless God gives it from Heaven! You know that I'm not the messiah and I'm here only to prepare a way for him!"
"It is the bridegroom who marries the bride and the best man is simply glad to stand with him and hear the vows! Therefore, I'm filled with Joy at his success and he must become greater and greater and I must become lesser and lesser!" (JOHN 3:23-30)

Dear friends, 
Many times we compare our lives with others and if you are not closer to God, you end up with negative attitude! You can become Jealous, rude and harsh or you might even do things to bring the other person down!

Friends, We are children of God and we must help each other come up! Let us not envy one another and let us have beautiful heart, mind and soul like John!

And like John said "No one can receive unless God gives it from heaven!"

So stop running for something just because your friend or relative has it! God knows who needs what!

He differs us by giving different talents, different desires and different gifts making each one of us unique in our own way!

Be content and praise God! Obey him and don't envy others! Be happy for your friend or relative when they do better! Don't compare! He knows what is right for you and when to give you!

Ask him! Let him guide you! Amen
