DON'T BE LEFT BEHIND

As the days of Noah ... As well the days of Lot
Will be our Blessed Hope ... In escaping this world of rot
But please don't misconstrue ... It's the corruption and the greed
Not the majestic views ... Of the mountains and the seas

Husbands taking wives ... Marriages taking place
Buildings on the rise ... Ignoring God's grace
Fields are being planted ... In parties roaring laughter
Debauchery and sins flaunted ... In evil silly chatter

And then from out of the blue ... In the twinkling of an eye
The world comes un-glued ... As we meet our Lord in the sky
The partying suddenly stops ... As everything falls apart
Millions of people drop ... From the failing of their hearts

Then the man with the fix ... Is welcomed with open arms
But it's all a deceitful trick ... Presented with wicked charm
He will demand that you be marked ... If you hope to eat
But you will join him in the dark ... When he goes down in defeat

So be best to lose your head ... If that is what it takes
And end in heavenly rest ... Rather a fiery lake
But even better still ... While there still is time
Accept the offer to be healed ... Pay heed this little rhyme

We are all born selfish ... Centered on ourselves
Which will lead to all that's hellish ... In a place defined as Hell
Sin is what it's called ... The wages of which is death
But Jesus Christ took the fall ... Just believe it and you are blessed

Just sit still for a moment ... And take a look around
Do you not see the torrent ... Of all the evil now surrounds
Time is running out ... To make up your mind
You will either hear the shout ... Or be left behind
