"Getting to Heaven"

How far do you walk to go to Heaven?
Directions somehow surely are given.
How do I prepare for this great trek?
I want to respond to this call and beck.

I want to go where I am a happy soul.
I can start now for Heaven is my goal.
I am just playing; I think that I do know.
Walking isn't it; you need a boat to row.

If a boat isn't it, going may have to wait
Unless a balloon goes to Heaven's Gate.
Who am I kidding? Now travel is modern.
Silly me! These ideas please do pardon.

Plane, train, or automobile must be how!
Days are gone using a horse or holy cow.
I checked around; none of these do go.
Let me see; I think that now I really know.

"Beam me up!" It is just so very obvious.
Of A Transporter Room, I'm not oblivious.
There is a problem though in finding one.
Time Machine use also hasn't yet begun.

Will you look at that car's bumper-sticker!
I saw it waiting for that signal light flicker.
"Faith in Jesus is The Way to Heaven."
At last some direction for me was given.
