World conditions are shaping up just exactly like the Bible said they would thousands of years ago. Bible prophecies are being fulfilled right now literally, and to the exact detail. We are at the point in history prior to what is referred to in Matthew 24:21 as the Tribulation Period, "such as has not occurred since the beginning of the world until now, nor ever shall." This article is written primarily to non-Christians. If you take issue with this, or don't agree with me, you don't have to, but let me ask you a question: "Have you ever read the Bible, particularly the parts that prophesy current events?" If not, who are you to say it is not true? All of what the Bible said would happen, has so far come about. There is reason to believe, then, that what it says about the present time and future will also be fulfilled. 

     The events we see, the continual evil, the wild and bizarre weather, the immorality, calling evil good, and good evil, satanic worship, the LGBT agenda, abortion and selling body parts, disdain for law enforcement, rioting, lack of conscience and common sense, etc, is all leading up to the most horrible time the world will ever witness. And things are going to get worse, people! It is the long term result of humanity's rejection of God for the past 2,000 years. Jesus was born into the world as God in human flesh, demonstrated to us how to live righteously, and died and rose again from the grave that all people might experience a life of peace, purpose, and have the hope of eternal life beyond this earthly abode. Because of pride people have rejected the free gift of God's grace. There is nothing you have to do to earn your salvation, contrary to what certain religious groups teach. 

     Right now, the true Christians have the Holy Spirt of God living within their hearts. II Thessalonians 2:6 calls the Holy Spirit a "restraining influence" against evil and ungoldy practices. Before, or sometime near the beginning of this Tribulation Period, all the Christians will be "caught up to meet the Lord in the air," as taught in I Thessalonians 4:17. This is often referred to as the rapture. When that happens, the Holy Spirit will no longer be on Planet Earth to restrain evil. The world will witness unrestrained evil and depravity combined with the supernatural judgment of God. Much of the world will be destroyed through various means, including nuclear warfare. The Bible prophesies that, too, in Zechariah 14:12.

     The worldwide economic collapse we are seeing, the political mess, the total lack of morality, and the religious apostasy and inclusiveness are all setting the stage for a world dictator and one-world religion. Most people have heard of 666. Well, that may not be very far away. But the world is in such a chaotic mess that people will receive this world leader with open arms. He will be viewed as a person who has all of the "answers" to the world's problems. The world is ripe for such a person. 

     The world domination by the anti-Christ, who some believe will be Satan in the flesh, will be accompanied by super-earthquakes, horrific storms, and supernatural phenomenon so bad that some people will want to hide "themselves in the caves and among the rocks of the mountains" and they will cry out, "Fall on us, and hide us from the presence" of God"(Revelation 6:15-17). This time of tribulation will last seven years. 

     What is happening right now in our world is caused by several factors: 1)humanity's long-term rejection of God because of pride that says he can live his life anyway he wants to and be totally self-sufficient without God, 2)man's vile and depraved human character without the grace of God at work in indivdual lives, and 3) God's judgment as a means to wake people up to repentance. It is God's desire that each person be spared from the coming judgment and to enjoy eternal life in His presence. 

     People on earth during this time will still have a chance to turn to God, if they survive. If they do decide to turn to God through His son, Jesus Christ, and refuse the mark of the beast (666) they will have one of two options: either face possible beheading, or go "underground" to avoid being detected, and they will be on their own to survive, because without the mark of the beast, no one will be able to buy or sell (Revelation 13:16-17).

     There is much that could be said, but I will stop here. What happens after the seven-years is over? That's another story, but it is not important right now. What is important is that you accept God's grace and escape the coming judgment. Humble yourself before God, and ask Jesus Christ to save you. Acknowledge that he died for your sins and rose from the grave that you might have eternal life.
