Marriage is a covenant and its a vow that must not be taken lightly when entering into it for its till death do us part. But according to the will of God it's a woman's duty to submit to her husband for he is her head, but the wonderful thing about God is he's a God of love.The Lord placed a woman under the headship of her husband not that he can rule over her or abuse and mistreat her but so that he can love and provide for her; for he's her covering. But because of what Eve choose to do by listening to the Serpent woman was placed under the submission of their husbands. But I have come to learn God's will concerning marriage and it's truly beautiful when God is in it for it's all about love. In Ephesians 5:21-31 it references back to the Garden of Eden. But it's the Lord's will for husbands to love their wives, even as Christ loved the church and gave himself for it that he might sanctify it and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word. So as with the Lord's wife he has set her apart and cleansed her through the waters of baptism that he might present her without having spot or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that she may be holy and without blemish. So men ought to love their wives as their own bodies for he that loveth his wife loveth himself because of the fact that woman came from the man's rib and she's apart of him. So men ought to love his wife as their own bodies he that loveth his wife loveth himself. For no man ever hated his own flesh but nourishes and cherisheth it even as the Lord the church: For we are members of his body, of his flesh and of his bones. For this cause shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall be joined unto his wife, and they shall be one flesh. So just as the woman came from man's rib the church came from Christ. For this as mentioned before references back to the beginning in the book of Genesis in the Garden of Eden when the Lord brought upon a deep sleep upon Adam and took one of his ribs and made a woman and brought her unto the man so that she may be his wife and a helpmeet suitable for him. Adam said she was bone of my bones and flesh of my flesh so it's the same exact way for we the church are members of Christ's body and his bones. For this is the great mystery and I speak concerning Christ and the church, Nevertheless let every one of you in particular so love his wife even as himself and the wife see she reverences her husband.
