The Hand of GOD


Scriptural Reference:

And the hand of the LORD was on Elijah; and he girded up his loins, and ran before Ahab to the entrance of Jezreel - 1 Kings 18:46
And the hand of the Lord was with them: and a great number believed, and turned unto the Lord - Acts 11:21
By stretching forth your hand to heal; and that signs and wonders may be done by the name of your holy child Jesus - Acts 4:30

Sermon:

Beloved, I would like you to thirst for the hand of GOD. Desire the manifestation of the hand of GOD in your life. In the scriptures, it typifies the presence of GOD. Ask GOD to lay his hands on you. When the hand of GOD comes upon the life of a person, a lot of great things would begin to happen in his life. 1. He would experience miracles, signs and wonders (and the other gifts of the Spirit). 2. He would enjoy open doors of grace and favour. 3. The person could be mightily used by GOD. 4. The person would experience increase and blessings. 5. The person would enjoy unusual speed. 6. The person would experience all round peace and rest 7. He would experience joy.

In the books of Acts, a lot of healings, miracles, signs and wonders were done by the hand of GOD. Acts 4:30 tells us that the LORD literally stretched forth his hands and performed a lot of healings, miracles, signs and wonders by the name of Jesus Christ. As the hand of the LORD comes upon you, miracles, signs and wonders shall never cease in your life in Jesus name. The gifts of the Spirit would be in constant operation in your life. You will perform wonders, experience wonders and you yourself will become a wonder in Jesus name.

GOD's hand was upon Joseph wherever He went and that made him to experience unusual grace and favour everywhere he went (Genesis 39). In Portipher's house, He was favoured. When He got to the prison, He was also favoured. And when He was brought before the King of Egypt, He experienced favour. I see the hand of the LORD coming upon somebody receiving this ministration and I see the person experiencing unusual favours in Jesus name. If you are the one, shout - Hallelujah.

When the Holy Spirit came upon the 120 people in the upper room on the day of Pentecost (Acts 2:1-2), they were supernaturally empowered by GOD for the work of ministry. GOD's hand came upon them and baptized them with his Spirit and with fire. They were quickened, empowered and used for the work of GOD. The church was born during that event and the books of Acts is full of great works done by some of those Apostles and disciples of Christ. When the hand of the LORD comes upon you, you will be clothed with power and you will do great exploits in Jesus name.
Acts 11:21 tells us that the hand of the LORD was with the Church of Christ and a great number of people were added unto them. They experienced increase and growth. More souls were won for GOD. Wherever the hand of GOD is, there would be increase. There would be multiplication, blessings and fruitfulness. When the hand of the LORD comes upon you, you too will experience increase and multiple blessings in Jesus name.

In 1 Kings 18:46, when the hand of GOD came on Elijah, He experienced unusual and supernatural speed. That's what is going to happen to you when the hand of GOD comes upon you. You will begin to experience speed in Jesus name.

When the hand of GOD comes upon you, you will also experience peace and all round rest. His presence is filled with peace. Jesus' burden is easy and light (Matthew 11:29-30). GOD doesn't struggle with anything. Therefore you will not struggle in Jesus name.

In the presence of the LORD there is fullness of joy (Psalm 16:6). As the hand of the LORD comes upon you, every spirit of heaviness would give way for the unquenchable joy of the Spirit. You will experience joy in Jesus name. David danced and sang when the hand of GOD came upon him. You too will dance and sing a new song in Jesus name.

Begin to pray right now, the hand of GOD is coming upon you. When the hand of GOD came upon Saul, He prophesied and became a new man (1 Samuel 10:6-9). You too will prophesy and become a new person in Jesus name. Your life is changing for good. Everything concerning you is getting better and better in Jesus name. If you believe, shout a believing - Amen!

Prayer: Father GOD, I ask that you cause your hand to rest upon me and change my life for good. I pray with thanksgiving in Jesus name
