The United States of America is no longer winning wars. According to Psalm 21:7-13, the reason could be that our government leaders who make the decisions about fighting our enemies are not putting their trust in God. They have turned their back on Him.

"For the king trusts in the Lord, and through the lovingkindness of the Most High he will not be shaken." (verse 7)

"Your hand will find out all your enemies; Your right hand will find out those who hate you." (verse 8)

"You will make them as a fiery oven in the time of your anger; The Lord will swallow them up in his wrath, and fire will devour them."(verse 9)

"Their offspring Thou will destroy from the earth, and their descendants from among the sons of men." (verse 10)

"Though they intended evil against you, and devised a plot, they will not succeed." (verse 11)

"For Thou will make them turn their back; Thou will aim with Thy bowstrings at their faces." (verses 12)

"Be Thou exalted, O Lord, in Thy strength; we will sing and praise Thy power." (verse 13)
