Prophecy

My kingdom is not as the governments of this world where man elects you for position because of your strength and ability, or because you fight to make yourself known and heard for ascendancy. In the Kingdom of God the more you fight for yourself and the more you assert yourself in the flesh, the less authority you have and the lower you fall in rank.

I seek after the meek and lowly, not those who are self-confident in their own worth and ability. All men were made in my image and likeness, and all have been given authority to rule. Such is the nature I bestowed upon mankind from the moment I created him. But those that I seek for my kingdom are those whose confidence is in me … not in themselves. That is why I require that you die.

I require that you die to yourself and your abilities, your accomplishments, your dreams, your desires. I require and demand that nothing of you and yours must take precedence over my will, my purpose, and my plan. I require that nothing in you or of you comes even close to competing with the position I must have in your life, if you truly belong to my Kingdom.
It is the way I function. I always work from nothing. It is in creating beauty from ashes, palaces from hovels, kings from beggars, that I am glorified. It is in creating an orchard from a single seed that lay buried in the ground. It is in creating a king from a young infant lying helpless in his mother’s arms. … even from a tiny, near invisible seed germinated through my desire, my plan and my purpose.

I do not get any pleasure or glory from the greatness of man and his accomplishments. I don’t get any glory from the skills of a man’s hands or the swiftness of his legs because there is nothing in the flesh that can glorify me. It is all passing – transitory and of no value, unless in it you acknowledge me. That is why the magnificent structures over which you stand in awe mean nothing to me, unless in them, you see my glory. That is what you were meant to do and be – to reflect my glory. And without your acknowledgement of me and who I am, then your work is empty and meaningless in my sight.

Go back and look at all the great artists, architects, scholars and creators of the past. See if it was not through me that they gave birth to their great accomplishments. See if it was not through me that ideas came to life and bore fruit. I am the source of all creativity: it is through me that all things come to life. So I designed it, and so it must be. There can be no other pattern for greatness. Any other greatness is not of me, and must and will come to nothing.

I will not, I shall not share my glory with another. There is nothing of my creation that is worthy of my honor save my only begotten, the one in whom I dwelt when he was on earth. The one who was completely united with me in heart and mind, and whose sole purpose and avowed intent was to do my will and walk in my ways.

Do not be fooled. There is none other of my creation whose heart was turned fully towards me like Jesus. In him I placed the fullness of my Spirit, and in him I placed eternal life. He embodies all truth that ever existed, and to him I have bequeathed all my possessions. In him is the hope of mankind, and all the ages. There is no life outside of him. That is why without him you will die eternally – your spirit will die being eternally separated from its source of life. He was given life twice over. He was born the first of my works before the beginning of the ages, and he was crucified in the flesh and rose again with a new body which will never die. That is the life that I offer to all who belong to my kingdom.

And so, all who would seek to belong to my kingdom must imitate my Son … the joy of my life. You too must die to the desires of the flesh, to the deceitful pleasures of the world, and to the pursuit of mammon. You must die to the pursuit of all these things, and when you have buried them and they are no longer the essence of your very existence, I will be able to bless you abundantly, that you may bask in my glory and give me back glory in return. Then you will know that all things are of me, through me, and from me, and you will not look anywhere else to meet your needs. You will look to me alone, and in that I am glorified.

I promise you life and joy … the fullness of life that you can never know outside of me. It is a fullness that satisfies every part of your being. That is the fullness of life that I want for my own, and that I have in my hands to give you, if you will seek me with all your heart.
