Poetry
Worthy
Oh Lord, Lord what can I do?
I feel so unworthy
To do work for you.
My life is in shambles
My mind all astrew
How can I be a servant for you?
To spread the good news
And your love all around
That if they know the Lord
They will be heaven abound
I feel insignificant
So tiny and unsure
I don't think I can do it
My life is not pure
Please give me direction
Let me know that your near
I need my hand held
To help chase away the fear
May my ears be opened
To hear your words
To tell all the people
And not sound absurd
Open my eyes
So I see all you do
to find all the people
you want to renew
Moisten my lips
With praises for you
To be thankful and joyful
In all that you do
Thank you Lord Jesus
For speaking within
Reminding me that
You died for my sins
Because of that gift
I am set free
To be your faithful servant
and to be worthy.
