TOPIC: FIRM FOUNDATION

TEXT: Mathew 7:24-27
Memorize: 1Co 3:11 For other foundation can no man lay than that is laid, which is Jesus Christ.

INTRODUCTION
A foundation is the base or groundwork upon which the rest of the building stands. It carries all the weight and therefore determines how tall, heavy, big and the lifespan of the building. It can be the invisible part of a visible beauty. It can stand without the building but the building can’t stand without it. This STUDY is meant to help you understand the importance of your foundation in Christ and to help you dig deeper. May the Holy Spirit help us understand and keep us established upon the Rock Jesus Christ forever. As we STUDY this topic, may the Lord visit the foundations of our lives in Jesus name.

HOW CAN A BELIEVER PUT UP A STRONG FOUNDATION?
Mat 7:24 If a man hears my WORD and Doest…..

Be passionate with the word.
Read the WORD, hear the WORD-Rom 10:17, Meditate on the WORD Ps 1:2, believe the WORD- Jn 3:16, Isa 28:16; Sing the WORD- Jos 1:8, Do the WORD-James 2:17
By trusting upon the Lord Ps 125: They that trust in the LORD shall be as mount Zion, which cannot be removed, but abideth For ever
Righteousness (doing the right thing) Pr 10:25

CONCLUSION
Even to the doer of the word trial will come, rains of affliction will fall from above, floods of persecution or trouble will arise from the earth, and mysterious winds of spiritual temptation will beat upon him from all quarters; but he has a good foundation of real, vital, practical faith, and therefore he survives every test. Not so the mere hearer of the word, his case comes to a very different end.

You have discovered that the foundation is so important. Most of weakness that a building has are a result of a weak FOUNDATION. The foundation we lay for our health, family, finances, destiny, salvation etc determines strength or weakness in that aspect for the rest of our lives. May God help us Build strong foundation In Jesus name
