As a young teenager, many years ago I made a promise to God. I told Him that wherever He asked me to go minister in His name that I would go. Keeping an open heart has led me to many opportunities and insurmountable blessings throughout the years. I have had opportunities to travel coast to coast and share what God has given me. The last five years of my life have been a growing time for me. God has been developing in me a better understanding of the Word and better comprehension of His desire for all to know Christ. He has been honing and defining a more specific call on my life in these last two years. As I have obeyed, I have found joy immeasurable.

He has led me to a body of believers where I can grow and become equipped more efficiently, which in turn allows me to minister more effectively. My pastor is a man of honor who without knowing has taught me a great deal about following the heart of God and trusting Him for all things. My husband has been a man of honor as well. He has always come along side me, prayed for me and sought after God with me to find a better understanding of what God is doing in both of our lives.

I recently received an invitation to speak for a crusade in Kenya Africa. At first I was a little leery not knowing what all it entailed - and the invitation was given by someone I have not met. However, as I have been seeking counsel from those that hold me accountable, corresponding via email with one of the associational leaders there, as well as seeking God's heart in prayer daily, there is a confidence in my spirit that says - go! So I have committed to do so. My team and I will have the opportunity to work along side many pastors and evangelist who live there in Kenya. We will be evangelizing in several villages. We will also have the opportunity to teach in morning conferences and I will be speaking at the evening crusades. It is such a wonderful opportunity and I find myself asking, "Lord, how can this be happening?" Less then a year ago I thought the plan for my life was so different. But that is because I was only looking at a few of the gifts that God has given me.

Without being prideful, I want to say I know God has given me numerous gifts and for this I am grateful. He has given you gifts too! Sometimes we are not aware of what our gifting is. Sometimes it takes several years for us to be open minded enough to walk in our gift or gifts. When we walk through the door of obedience to God, we begin to experience countless blessings of empowerment and provision. God only ask for a willing heart. God doesn't call the qualified, He qualifies the called. When we surrender our life, our heart, our gifts to Him, He brings us before people we may never have met, or takes us to places we have never dreamed of going. What the days ahead hold, only God knows. But I am assured of this one thing, that wherever He leads, I will go!
