Rise Up Now Church

My soul is weary
My body is weak
All around are trials and tribulations
All around are desperate pleas for mercy

I hear their cries in my heart
I can hear them calling in the night
Who will go Lord?
Who will you lead?
Who can touch this hurting world
And set them free?

Where is my God?
Where is the Holy One?
Who rises up to deliver His Own?

I know my Jesus! I can read His Word
But so many don’t understand
So many haven’t heard

He is the One
Who heals their bodies
He is the one
Who mends their hearts
He is the One
Who satisfies the weary souls

Rise up now Church
We have work to do
How can we overlook our hurting children
Brothers and Sisters too?

They need to see the power of the Healing One
The mercy of Calvary
They need to know the king who sets them free

Rise up now Church
Listen to their cries
Let us be now the Royalty in Chains
We were meant to be
Let us stand up strong
Declare the Word is true
Who can believe the report?
Because if you truly do...
He will rise up in us
He will declare war on the enemy
Through our hands and our lips
He will set the captives free

Let us declare our God is strong
He’s the Healing One
He’s the mender of broken lives
He delivers us from our enemies

Rise Up Now Church
