We hear a lot about Faith and it is Faith that is our bedrock. This is what we stand on. But there is one thing reading or hearing about it. It is how we put our faith into practice in our modern very busy life. For instance you have four young children and Mum has to take them to school. Dad has to go to work and there has been a very restless night with the children. Everybody is up late and anybody who has or has had children will know that getting them dressed, fed and off to school is a nightmare. And Dad? well he will try to assist but has to go out at a certain time.

In between all this where is the time for morning prayers?. Does it mean that because of such a hectic time that the lack of prayer has undermined this family's faith. Of course not scripture tells us That Faith is the substance of things hoped for the evidence of things not seen. There is a Faith line to be crossed on that one. No matter what is going on with a young family Mum and Dad will have the Faith to know that things will settle down. Because they believe it. They pray it into existence, it is hoped for and not yet seen. But it will happen. Hebrews 11 verse1. K.J.V.
