How wedding rings are made


The angels searched the heavens
To find a golden dove
They took a single feather
And they sprinkled it with love
Then prayerfully they blessed it
Upon the alter old
And gently then they placed it
Into a special mold
Then when the time allotted
Had passed and flown away
The mold was carefully opened up
To see what faith had made
It was a pair of golden wedding rings
Made to join two hearts in love
A very special gift to us
From heaven high above
The angels then carefully tied them
With ribbons edged in lace
And with the stars to light the way
They brought them to this place
They bound them to this pillow
For all the world to see
Golden symbols of our endless love
Lasting for eternity
