We must make every effort.
To enter a place of rest;
For getting peace and comfort,
And able to do your best.

Then nobody will be lost,
By following what you do;
And prepared at any cost,
To trust and obey each day through.

The Word of God is living,
Sharper than a two edge sword;
Cuts deeper but forgiving,
When confessing to the Lord.

Where the soul and spirit meet,
Where joints and marrow unite;
A rapid swing will complete,
Will make the person contrite.

The Word of God judges thoughts,
The same with each intention;
For the multitude of onslaughts,
From evil intervention.

No creature can hide from God,
Not from inside of a cave;
Even if home or abroad,
If alive or in the grave.

Faith is your declaration,
Unto the supreme chief Priest;
Others are inferior,
Not invited to the feast.
