“Oh foolish Galatians, who has bewitched you, that you should not obey the truth, before whose eyes Jesus Christ has been evidently (openly) set forth, crucified among you” (Galatians 3:1).

MARCHING ARMY:
============================
After a time of prayer and praise before the Lord, I got still to listen (be still and know that I am God). As I waited, I began to see a vision of an army marching along on a wide dirt road. The next thing I knew, I was on what seemed to be an alcove along a cliff’s edge with Jesus beside me. We were partially hidden in this alcove. From this vantage point, I could look down on this marching army from the distance of the high cliff.

This army of marching people was fairly large. They marched along in neat rows of approx. 5 across to a row, and they marched perfectly. In watching them march, it became apparent that something wasn’t right. I said with alarm, “Wait a minute! What is this? Lord, what's going on here? These don’t even look like real people. They look more like cookie cutouts, or paper cutout people.”

Jesus answered, “These marching are part of the Body of Christ but they’ve patterned themselves after other groups. They’re marching under the flag of deception and they believe they’re doing what is right. These are the one’s who are complacent. These are the one’s who are lackadaisical and who have so easily been led astray because of it. These are the one’s who practice a form of religion by deny the power therein.” This marching group wasn’t identifiable as any certain church group, yet they represented a very real problem in the whole Body of Christ.

THE ESSENCE OF EVIL:
=============================
For the first time, I surveyed the surrounding area where we were on the cliff. To the left of me, I saw some demons gathered in the shadows. I seemed to know immediately that they were lying spirits and they were watching the people marching. It became obvious to me that the demons were not aware that I was watching them. In fact, they didn’t seem to know I was there at all. I was with Jesus and He had me well hidden in some rocks so I could observe with Him undetected. (We’re hid with God. Ps. 91).

Then, something dark and ominous moving in the distance caught my attention. It was Satan on a black horse. If I had to describe what I saw in one word, it would be ‘darkness.' The very essence of evil himself. Just looking at him, I could almost feel the tenical’s of dark and oppressive fear trying to reach me. But just as quickly as this feeling came, I was acutely aware of the presence of Jesus. In Him who is love, there is no fear. I felt a calming in my spirit. I was safe, there was peace and I had nothing to fear.

I looked at the people marching again. They marched past my direct line of vision and to the right of me and on out of my direct view. To my left, I could see the end of the Army in the far distance. They marched around a slight curve in this wide road. I then saw Satan riding his horse along one side of the marching people. He would change directions and go around in the back of them. It reminded me of a cattle rancher driving his herd to market for slaughter. The people were unaware of the devil’s presence so close to them as he pushed and prodded them along to his choice of destination. They just kept right on marching without missing a beat.

It seemed a little odd to me that neither the demons nor Satan were actually bothering these people. I continued to watch them in silence, thinking this is strange. I thought, why aren’t they bothering and attacking these people? “Lord,” I said, “these people are like they’re...” I couldn’t seem to grasp the right word. Jesus knowing what I was trying to say, said, “They are under a spirit of enchantment. They’re bewitched.” I immediately thought of Gal.3:1, “Oh, foolish Galatians, who has bewitched you, that you should not obey the truth, before whose eyes Jesus Christ has been evidently (openly) set forth, crucified among you?”

Being under a spirit of enchantment, the people looked as if they were in a trance as they went forward to do what the enemy had programmed them through bewitchment to do. I understood now why the devil and his demons were only watching over the people. The people were being guarded to make sure they stayed true to form.

WEAPONS OF WARFARE:
===============================
In looking even closer at this Army, I saw something else surprising and I felt alarm for them. “Lord, I don’t see these people with any weapons or wearing any armor. I don’t see any shields at all. I don’t see any spears or swords, or anything. They’re just marching.” Jesus answered; “These people have been beguiled into believing other doctrines instead of the pure truth of My Word. They are under strong delusion. They’re deceived to believe that they are marching in the true Army of the Lord. When in fact, they are marching against it under the enemy’s banner of lies.”

The Lord’s explanation helped me to understand even better why these people weren’t being out and out attacked, but only watched. Because all the people were under the same deception and because they believed the same lies, in a perverted way, it served as an encouragement to make them strong for a time. Therefore, they marched in a false unity of the brethren like programmed mechanical robots---doing what they had been programmed to do.

When I asked Jesus further about the lack of weapons and armor, He said, “They don’t have weapons and armor because they don’t think they need any.” “But why not?” I pressed to know. “Because no one has told them that they need armor. They haven’t been taught that they need the armor of God.

Most of My Body of believer’s don’t even understand what the armor of God is all about and why they need it.” I purposed in my heart to learn more about the armor of God and why we need it. Even though no words were spoken between the Lord and me right then, He knew my thoughts, and I felt His pleasure by the decision I’d just made. And this brought incredible joy to my spirit.

POWER OF THE WORD:
==========================
I felt drawn to look at the marching Army again. As I observed them, this time it was clear that there was no heart involvement in what they were doing. It was all mechanical. There was no life about them. They had good form together but there was no obvious power. There was no Anointing of the Spirit. They were marching in dry and barren places.

Then, like a camera with a zoom lens I was able to see the faces of the people up close. There were no signs of Christ-likeness. No flow of the Holy Spirit. No real truth. No real joy. There were no smiles on their faces and their eyes looked lifeless and dull. No light. They were just marching. My heart went out to them with compassion.

Then the Lord spoke, “These people can never go very far without falling because they have no power of the Word of God, nor of the Spirit to sustain them.” I could understand that. The Word of God brings faith. The Word of God is the power of the gospel. We stand by faith in God and in the power of His Word, trusting that He’s able to keep and sustain us through anything we face. But we must know the truth of His Word. We need discernment so as not to believe the diluted and diffused forms of perverted truth that has no power in it and comes to deceive us. This diffused and diluted Word of God may even LOOK like the truth but in truth it is only deception.

MEDIC TEAM:

When the people began to weaken I saw them begin to look around them. But before they were allowed to see the truth of their condition, some of the demons ran out to them like a team of medic’s on alert. They looked to be injecting the weakened believer’s with diffused and perverted truth. I was amazed to see the weakened believer’s began to gain renewed strength.

Being convinced the lies told them was the truth, they immediately fell back in form with the other’s to continue marching on. I was appalled at the sight before me. “They’re still being bewitched and programmed. And the pitiful thing is, these people don’t even realize what’s happening to them. They don’t realize the danger they’re in. They believe they’re marching in the true Army of the Lord. They believe they’re doing what’s right.”

I felt the weight of grief and such sadness come over me for these deceived people that my knees felt weak. I knew the Lord was allowing me to experience a tiny taste of His own grief and my heart went out to Him because He loved these people so much. After all, He had died and shed His precious blood for them.

The Lord spoke then, “You have to remember, these people believe they’re walking in the freedom of My truth, but they are not. For the very fact that they march under the enemy’s flag of deception these people are his prisoner’s. They are being held captive but I came to set the captives free of all prisons of the enemy. And for you to be able to walk in the true freedom that I died to give all the people of the world, you have to first know THE Truth. I Am the truth (John 14:6).

The revelation and reality of My truth is what will make you free. These people are a part of My Body but they have been wounded by the enemy’s lies of deception. They are in need of healing and wholeness. And for that to become a reality in their lives they must first hear the plain and simple truth of My Word. Their minds need to be renewed to the truth of My Word.

The power of it will break loose and destroy the bonds and bands of deception. The truth of My Word will break loose the bonds of bewitchment. My Word is life. It’s the power of the gospel, and if My people will only believe and trust in My Word, it will destroy enemy prisons and set them free.”

The Scripture from Isaiah 10:27 came to me that says, “He will remove the burdens (of the devil) off your shoulder, and destroy the yokes from around your neck---they will be destroyed because of the Anointing.”

The Lord began to speak again, “When My people come to the full knowledge of My pure and simple Word then they will walk in true freedom. ‘Whom the Son sets free is free indeed.’(John 8:36). When they believe with their hearts and begin to look at themselves and their surroundings through the truth, they will realize their lack of armor.

They will feel naked and exposed to the enemy’s attacks. My people need to be taught the pure simplicity of My Word so they won’t be vulnerable and exposed to the enemy. Instead they can be armed with the armor of God (the Word) and ready to resist all enemy attack.”(Eph.6:11-19).

SCRIPTURE AND COMMENTS:
===============================
Jeremiah 9:6, “Thine habitation is in the midst of deceit; through deceit they refuse to know Me, saith the Lord.”

The word enchantment and bewitched, both means-- “to captivate.” If you simplify this word you have the word “captive.” And a captive means--“a person who is held prisoner. A hostage.”

In the Greek the word deceived means--“error, a wandering from the right path.” It means, the person who’s deceived has been mislead off the right path (God’s path) by way of their minds being captivated. Being deceived in one’s mind means--“to be ensnared by the mingling of the truth of the Word of God with false doctrines.”
Delusion is much like deception. It means, “A wandering. Someone who is led astray to roam here and yonder away from the right path. It’s a mental straying of wrong opinions, error in morals or religion.”

Included here are my impressions that I received concerning this vision. I don’t claim to have the full revelation of it as of yet. Sometimes, it doesn‘t all come at once but is progressive.

WIDE DIRT ROAD:
====================
Jesus said, His way is “straight and narrow,” not wide and curving. This also suggested to me compromise, slight of hand in the church Body. Dirt, clay---this is what man is made from. It speaks of humanism. Dry, and barren no anointing in residence, no fruit.

DEMON GUARDS:
======================
Satan has legions of demon spirits that he gives specific assignments to over churches, families, individuals, ministries, cities, states and nations, etc. His evil army has rank and order (Eph.6:11-12).

MILITARY FORM:
======================
This suggested a form of religion but denying the power therein just as Jesus said. It also made me think of parrots and robots. Those blinded by deception in the church. It spoke of legalism, very rigid.

OPEN GATES:
=====================
Complacent and Lackadaisical, these spoke of two open gates for the enemy to come in and attack the body of Christ. Religious spirits in Church, denying power of the Spirit. Denying move of the Holy Spirit and opposing Him in the Church.

COPYCAT:
================
This Army marched, the demons watched and guarded them to make sure the people did what they were supposed to do. Born again Christian’s have God’s angel’s sent to protect them (Heb.14:1) but Satan is a copycat. Whatever God has, he counterfeit's it, thus, the demon guards sent to protect his evil wishes. These were lying spirits to get the people to accept perverted truth of God‘s Word.

SATAN:
===============
All demon spirit’s are under his control and his orders (Eph.6:11-12). I want to say again that he assigns specific demons to specific people, groups, churches, cities, towns, nations, etc. to harass, torment and to destroy them if he can (John 10:10). He is total darkness. He is totally evil. He is death and destruction. Jesus is the LIGHT of the world and in Him, there is No darkness. He is totally good.

CAUGHT UNAWARE:
======================
The church needs to shake off the cobwebs of deception and begin praying for the gift of discerning of spirits. The Church needs to learn more keenly how to discern both God’s Holy Spirit and angelic beings, and Satan’s and his evil spirits. The devil can sit beside many church members on Sunday morning and they never know it because they can’t discern his evil presence. They are unaware. Satan can appear as an angel of light (II Cor.11:14).

The person who sits down beside you may look okay; they may talk okay, etc., so you assume they must be okay. But looks can be deceiving. Everything that looks good on the outside is not necessarily of God. Sometimes it is, but sometimes it is not. I’m going to stress this again; the body of Christ needs to have sharper discernment.

The Church has been under a spirit of enchantment. The Lord says, they’ve been bewitched. They’ve been programmed. They’ve been brainwashed by deceptive lies of the enemy. Therefore, the Church has been in a trance-like state, parroting what the enemy is telling them to say. We have to ask ourselves and go before the Lord Jesus and ask to be shown exactly where we are individually in this picture? We have to ask the Spirit of truth to lead us into the whole truth of where we are so that the blinders can come off and we can be set free.

The Church, individually and corporately is not wearing the full armor of God as commanded in Eph.6:11,12, “Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.” The Church has dropped its shield of faith and is taking hit after hit after hit from the devil. And in their hands the sword of the Spirit is dull with unbelief (Jesus said, My people don’t believe Me), rendering it ineffective against the devil and his evil spirits.

There needs to be more teaching to come forth about spiritual warfare and the necessity of the whole armor of God to equip the saints of God for battle because we are in a war between good and evil, light and dark, truth and lies. But bottom line, it’s all about “worship” [John 4:24] (more on this at another time). Many ministries are under attack in this hour, particularly the prophetic ministry. We need to rise up as the strong army of the Lord, fighting for the right side and the right cause of Christ and cover them with intercession.

God’s people need to hear the truth about Jesus and His Word more than ever in these last days. “You shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free” (John 8:32). We must once again preach Jesus in the Church again and show how He’s our model and example in spiritual warfare as the Warrior. He is the Lamb of God who was slain and shed His blood for the remission of the worlds sins but He’s more than that.

He is the Lion of the tribe of Judah, and the Lion of Judah is now roaring from His holy hill. The Church MUST hear His voice and follow Him and not wander off the path of life (John 10:27). We must submit our whole lives to Him and trust Him to help us by His grace to stay on that narrow road of holiness and righteousness that leads to eternal life.
