In Danger of Hell’s Fire
Healing To The Body And Soul
II Peter 3:10-12 but the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up. Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved, what manner of persons ought ye to be in all holy conversation and godliness, looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of God, wherein the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved and the elements shall melt with fervent heat.
What’s more important; to be healed in your body or have your soul saved?
II Peter 2:9-10 the Lord knows how to deliver the godly out of temptations and to reserve the unjust unto the day of judgment to be punished, but chiefly them that walk after the flesh in the lust of uncleanness, and despise government; presumptuous are they, self-willed, they are not afraid to speak evil of dignities.
I want my soul to be saved. I want my body to be healed but more than that I want my soul to be saved. Even if this physical body has ailments I never want to forsake my soul what it need to go back to the Father healed. By healed I mean having my soul survive the heat here in the earth that I don’t burn eternally in hell. Most people look on the outward appearance but God looks on the heart of the soul. He knows what we need, when we need it and where we need it.
Numbers 12:13 and Moses cried unto the Lord, saying, Heal her now, O God I beseech thee.
Miriam and Aaron had spoken against Moses, the man of God because he had married an Ethiopian woman. Moses was a Levite, a man of God, a Prophet, a Lawgiver, a faithful man to God, and he was one that the Lord gave direct revelation to had married a black woman. They said hath the Lord indeed spoken only by Moses? Hath he not spoken also by us? And the Lord heard it. Moses was very meek, above all the men which were upon the face of the earth. God spoke suddenly to Moses and to Aaron and to Miriam, come out ye three unto the Tabernacle of the congregation and they came out. The Lord came down in a pillar of the cloud, and stood in the door of the tabernacle, and called Aaron and Miriam and they both came forth.
How is it that we get to judge what God has told someone to do or not? How do we get to say what a person should or should not do when it comes to God? Are we wiser than God? Who are we to worry about how the flesh feels when it comes to God? God has tried to speak some things to man but because they don’t hear him but man their souls is in jeopardy every day. Man will have you in disobedience to God and put your soul in jeopardy with God. God spoke to Aaron and Miriam and said hear now my words: if there be a prophet among you, I the Lord will make myself known unto him in a vision and I will speak unto him in a dream. My servant Moses however is not so. He is faithful in all areas of life; mind, body, soul, and spirit. With him I speak mouth to mouth, even apparently, and not in dark speeches; and the similitude of the Lord shall he behold wherefore then were ye not afraid to speak against my servant Moses? And the anger of the Lord was kindled against them; and he departed.
Miriam became leprous after the cloud departed from off the tabernacle; she became leprous white as snow. Aaron said to Moses, alas my lord, I beseech thee, lay not the sin upon us wherein we have done foolishly, and wherein we have sinned. They had committed the sin of sedition. Sedition is incitement of resistance to or insurrection against lawful authority. When they took part or disposed to arouse in their heart something other than what their leader did or said they brought about a separation in spirit and went apart from Moses. Because they caused indifference to the authority Moses had as if he had lost his mind they became guilty of the sin of sedition. They angered the one that gave Moses the authority he had and Miriam was thereby afflicted in her body because she put her soul in danger of hell’s fire. When Aaron realized that they had sinned, he prayed Moses forgiveness. Moses then went to God on their behalf. Not only did Miriam need a healing in her body, but her soul had to be healed first.
How bad did she now want her body healed? Well that depended on how well she obeyed the order given her to follow by her leader. She had a time period of seven days to be shut out of the camp and the people could not journey on because of her. She was a besetting soul to the people and cause distress, hardship, and suffering to come upon them. We as leaders have to get rid of the sin that is besetting not only to us but to God’s people also. The chosen people of God could not continue their journey until Miriam obeyed God. When our soul is not healed of its self-righteous character we can hold up the plan and purpose of God with our seditious and contentious ways. God will go on without us but it’s not his will that any should perish. God wants to heal the soul which is more important than the healing of the body. Without the soul being healed the body is sick anyway.
Deuteronomy 32:39 see now that I, even I, am he, and there-is no god with me: I kill, and I make alive; I wound, and I heal; neither is there any that can deliver out of my hand. The people of Israel had provoked God to anger because they provoked his righteous soul with their serving of strange gods; which is an abomination. When we put things before God we put ourselves and all those with us in jeopardy of hell’s fire. When we speak against God’s anointed, his chosen people we put ourselves in danger of hell’s fire. God gave the people of Israel a promise land but they could not go into the promise land because they murmured and complained against God. Moses did not sanctify God in the midst of the children of Israel but God allowed him to see the promise land but he could not enter in either. It is better to obey than sacrifice.
When Moses had made an end of all speaking to all Israel the words from the Lord, he said to them set your hearts unto all the words which I testify among you this day, which ye shall command your children to observe to do, all the words of this law. For it is not a vain thing for you; because it is your life: and through this thing ye shall prolong your days in the land, whither ye go over Jordan to possess it. The Lord then told Moses to go to Nebo to die. Moses then blessed the people and pronounced blessings upon their seed before his death. He was telling them of their ways to see and do and understand the Lord in all His righteousness. Kill sin at its conception for the Lord that gave us life is angered at our unbelief. Sin touches every area of our lives when we submit to the enemy of our soul. There is no way to escape hell’s fire without obedience and a complete turn from sin taking place in our life.
The Devil uses man’s body to commit sin against their soul. That’s why we need healing in our whole total being; mind, heart, body, soul, and spirit. God wants to heal the land. When man’s soul is vexed all of the bones in the body hurt. God promises the penitent that he would deliver us, prepare the way for us, take up the stumbling block out of the Christian’s way that love Him and keep His Commandments. God dwells in the high and holy places with him that is of a contrite and humble spirit, to revive the spirit of the humble and to revive the heart of the contrite ones. God inhabits eternity, is the high and lofty one and his name is Holy. He will not forever contend with us though and He will not always be angry; for the spirit shall fail before him and the souls which He has made. We can no longer go on in the way of the forwardness of our hearts.
God has seen our ways and wants to heal us, lead us also, and restore comforts unto us. God will heal those that are far away as well as those that are close to Him and give them peace. The wicked however are like the troubled sea, when it cannot rest, whose waters cast up mire and dirt. There is no peace, said God to the wicked. It’s time we cry loud and spare not; but lift up our voices like a trumpet and show God’s people their transgressions and the sinner’s house their sin. Do you want to seek the Lord while he may be found today? Do you desire to seek Him daily? Do you delight to know His ways? Do you want to know his righteousness? Do you want your soul healed today? The healing of the soul brings salvation and strength to the body and causes it to also be healed. God wants to heal the hurt of his people today. Don’t let it be said too late that God was here to heal and I didn’t accept the healing. Don’t fail or come too late. The straight path for our feet is laid out today and the lame one wants to redirect us that we be turned out of the way but rather be thou healed in Jesus Name.
Follow peace with all men and holiness without which no man shall see the Lord. Today is the day to sell out; rid of the fire that burn the soul like an unquenchable heat. We must pray and pray again that God will heal and help us that we can help our neighbor, our sister and brother. If anyone err from the truth and another converts him; let it be known of you that he which converts a sinner from the error of his way shall save a soul from death, and shall hide a multitude of sins. God want sin broken in the life of the sinner. He wants us to interrupt the flow of sin in our brothers and sisters as well as ourselves rendering sin helpless and hopeless. If the effect of sin is to be weakened we that are strong must bear the infirmities of the weak as Jesus did for all of us.
If hell’s fire has interrupted your flow in Christ today is the day to fix that which is broken. We must come to Him that the broken fellowship in the soul realm may be healed. Our mind, heart, body, soul and spirit need to be stable; they can be mended today if you bring it to the Lord. God is waiting to repair us and make us strong permanently; He will heal our souls! It’s time to put out hell’s fire. Become a lively stone again that set fire to sin. Because we are built up a spiritual house to be a holy priesthood we must offer up spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ. Come to Jesus right now
