Joel 2

“So I will restore to you the years that the swarming locust has eaten,
The crawling locust,The consuming locust,And the chewing locust,My great army which I sent among you.



My beloved brothers and sisters,

The above text is a prophetic word that is applicable to you and I in this season right now. When you are dealing with extreme circumstances and the judgement of the Lord which is the case in Joel chapter 2, we can still go boldly to the throne of grace that we may obtain mercy and find help in the time of our need. Chapter 2 describes the events preceding the Day of the Lord when the Lord has pronounced judgement on the earth however: in verses 12 and 13 he gives his people an opportunity to repent," “Now, therefore,” says the Lord,“Turn to Me with all your heart, With fasting, with weeping, and with mourning.” 13." So rend your heart, and not your garments; Return to the Lord your God, For He is gracious and merciful,
Slow to anger, and of great kindness; And He relents from doing harm." There are now judgements that are occurring on the current economic and financial systems in America and around the world and saints and sinners alike are being impacted...But God! The Lord is gracious and merciful to give his people a chance to repent. If we repent from trusting our jobs, our education, our skills, our husbands, our wives and our family status and our on wealth then God can provide for us....If we put our trust in Jehovah-Jireh who is our provider and get off the Babylonian system and trust in the Lord with all our hearts and lean not to our own understanding...Then he will RESTORE THE YEARS! Notice the scripture says years....years of missed opportunities, years of of bad health, years of bad relationships, years of lack, years of unhappiness, years of loneliness...yes, God will restore the years! Repent and get ready for God to restore your years!
