Have you had enough of God,
To get you through the day?
For often there’s no time for rest,
Much less to stop and pray.

Have you had enough of grace,
To send you on your way?
Squeeze a sixty second devotion
Between shopping on e-bay!

Do you only need Him
When things are gone awry?
Otherwise, your doing fine…
At least you’re getting by.

How often must we seek Him?
What more should we need?
Surely it is sufficient
We say that we believe!

Can we, for one minute,
Sustain our life and breath?
Do we dare to think that we
Shall ever conquer death?

Holiness resides in Him,
And only in His hands
There shall be salvation
For the creation He called man.

Man was made for God,
Not the other way around.
And only in His presence
Can love and mercy be found.

So, have you had enough of God?
Do you begin to understand?
Best pray that there will be no day
When God has enough of man.
