Lord, Father God,
Where are You?
Why have You cast me off?
Why are You so silent to my cries?

I look to Your goodness,
I seek You to examine my heart.
I wonder, "How have I offended You?"
And the silence remains.

My heart is dry,
and my bones are dust.
I yearn for the One who knows my way.
My God, seek me out!
I weep for Your presence and glory.

Do not cast me off, Lord.
Find me where I am.
You know my way,
And have called me by name.

My hope remains in You.

I am brought down because of need.
My tongue clings to the dust of the earth.
I fade away, for I cannot see You.
Have mercy on me, O Lord.
Make my voice and heart one of praise.
