With the way things are today in our economy,
Pray for those who are in need, and help
someone, God's love to see.

Please help those who are without, and help them
in God's love. Help them to experience God's
blessings from above.

Be thankful if you have a job, and nice warm
clothes to wear. Think of those who can't
find work, and offer them some care.

Be thankful if you have a place to live and go to
sleep. The homeless have no place to go; it
is for them we weep.

Be so thankful for a car to drive to work and
back. While you're driving down the road
remember those who lack.

And be thankful, if you're sick, if you have
health insurance. For those who do not have
it, they must have endurance.

If you have the things you need, don't always ask
for more. Pray for those who are without; to
those God's blessings pour.

I'm really tired of those who strike because their
jobs aren't fine. They should be thankful
their not in the unemployment line.

There are those who make a lot, but money, they
want more. Instead they should remember to
feed and help the poor.

Then there's those in government who don't know
right from wrong. Then on top of all of that
they cannot get along.

We have judges with no sense, who don't know what
is fair, and when it comes to justice, they
really could not care.
