                       THE FATHER’S GREATEST RESOURCE

                                 By Robert Schaetzle

                     

                       Our father brought us His Son 

                       Teaching us how to walk each day

                       Provision for us, regardless what others say

                      

                       We’ve no one else to follow

                       God’s light to see, His word to learn

                       Grace so precious, like a delicate fern

  

                       Jesus, the Lamb of God                     

                       At Calvary, He endured the cross

                       Never, we need to suffer loss

 

                       No place else can we go

                       No one else can we lean on more

                       Than Christ our Lord, forevermore

 

                       God’s eternal care of lasting source

                       Not to doubt or need to run

                       Lean on Jesus, our Father’s precious Son

 

                       Today, in a world of uncertainties

                       Troubled hearts each passing hour

                       Rest in Jesus, the presence of His power

                                                                                  AMEN
