The City of God
The dwelling place
Of the Most High God.

There is a River
Whose flow waters
The Habitation of His people
The Apple of His Eye
The Delight of our God.

There is a River
Whose waters refresh
The lilies in the Valley
The Crown of Beauty
The Creation of God.

There is a River
Whose waters fill the city
The place of Promise
Where the Prime of Creation
Dwells day by day.

There is a River
Whose Presence
Revives His Habitation
And draws them closer
To His Greatness.

There is a River
Whose streams flow towards
The City of God
The Zion, His Church
The Place of His Presence.

There is a River
So swift, so slow
Yet in all measure brings peace
And Joy to all around
There is a River.

There is a River
Whose streams delight the Lord
The True Source of Life
The Water of Life
The Well of our being.

There is a River
Whose streams make glad
The City of God
The Royal Habitation
The City of His Presence
