Faith

Sometimes we need to look around to see the real prize,
The simple things like watching the sun rise,
To enjoy love ones and genuine friends,
To make the dreams of peace into a everlasting trend,
To watch children be safe and able to play,
To be able to fellowship for an entire day,
To feel the ocean breeze brush against your face,
To be able to enjoy your personal space,
Simple dreams that can be made into a reality,
What is the point of feeding into the demons and their insanity,
And I know sometimes it's hard to turn the other cheek once you've been struck,
And I definitly know the feeling of your last nerve being plucked,
But those are the times when you pray and lay it before our Lord's feet,
I don't know not one thing that he could not defeat,
What is the point of preaching if we don't practice the lessons,
What's the point going on if you steadily got the same confession,
The best things in life are simple and free,
I never read or heard the Lord say " Come follow me for a fee"
