Invest your life in things that last
Not temporary things,
And judge them by eternity,
These daily offerings.

Too many times we stubble make,
For gold our lives were formed,
Eternity must guide our hands,
The tasks we have performed.

One day we'll finally understand
The time and wealth we waste,
Lord, give me Your perspective
So You won't be disgraced.
