In God Worship
1. We acknowledge God’s Supremacy
• Psalm 92v8 “But You, O LORD, Are exalted forever.”
2. We respond to the greatness of His Glory and recognise His Holiness
• Psalm 24v3 “Who may ascend the hill of the LORD? Who may stand in his holy place?
3. We give God His dues
• Revelations 4v8 “Each of the four living creatures had six wings and was covered with eyes all around, even under his wings. Day and night they never stop saying: “Holy, holy, holy is the Lord God Almighty, who was, and is, and is to come.”
4. God becomes the ultimate authority and His very goodness is made known
• Psalm 115v1 “Not to us, O LORD, not to us but to Your Name be the glory, because of Your love and faithfulness.”
This takes us back to Who God is (Genesis 1)

Holy Ghost Worship
6 Reasons why we should engage Holy Ghost worship
1. Revival
• The persecuted Early Church experienced revival when the Holy Ghost invaded their territory
• Paul and Silas were revived when the Holy Ghost came through for them
• Jonathan was revived when he ate Honey (type of the Holy Ghost) 1 Samuel 14v29 Jonathan said, “See how my eyes brightened [Or my strength was renewed] when I tasted a little of this honey.”
2. Sight/Vision
• Proverbs 29v18 “Where there is no revelation/vision, the people cast off restraint.”
• You tend to look beyond your situation to God
• Jesus saw beyond the Cross
• Paul kept a focused hope on Jesus Philippians 3v12 Not that I have already obtained all this, or have already been made perfect, but I press on to take hold of that for which Christ Jesus took hold of me.
3. Endurance
• They saw God who built the better city. Hebrews 11v10 “For he was looking forward to the city with foundations, whose architect and builder is God.”
4. Romance/Love
• God is love and He pours out His love into our hearts. Romans 5v5 “And hope does not disappoint us, because God has poured out his love into our hearts by the Holy Spirit, whom he has given us.”
5. Release
• We are ushered into higher levels. He will raise the standard. Isaiah 59v19 “When the enemy comes in like a flood, the Spirit of the LORD will put him to flight/raise the standard.”
6. Passion
• No more will you neglect the things of God
Real Holy Ghost worship will recreate the Genesis 1v1-2 scenario and allow you to be creative.

Encounters in the Holy of Holies

Hebrews 8v1-2 “The point of what we are saying is this: We do have such a high priest, who sat down at the right hand of the throne of the Majesty in heaven, and who serves in the sanctuary, the true tabernacle set up by the Lord, not by man.”
- We have a High priest who has paved a living way for us into the Holy Of Holies and gives us the right to approach the Throne of Grace with confidence.

Protocol of the Holy of Holies (Isaiah 6v1-4)
- The High Priest interacts with God one on one
- Prayer requests are laid before God
- The train of God’s robe fills the Temple
- The Cherubim and Seraphim push all the glory to God
- Foundation shake and protocol is re-established
- Intimacy is promoted in this place

The Tent of Meeting (Exodus33v1-7)
- It was pitched outside the camp meaning worship must be carried away from the bustles of everyday life
- Seekers went there
- The cloud would come down
- People would stand up and worship at their doors
- God spoke to Moses face to face
- Joshua never left the Tent

The Shining face of Moses (Exodus 34v29-35)
- Moses spent time in the Presence of God
- His face shone as a result

The Tabernacle filled with Glory (Exodus 40v34-35)
- The cloud covered the Tent of meeting
- The glory of God filled the tabernacle
- Moses could not enter

How can we too encounter God?
1. By having purity of hearts, mind and body
2. Protracted and concentrated worship
3. Wait on God to raise the bar
